Release= v1.01

Bugs investigated:
1= Journal tutorial message near Customs and Excise offices= Conclusion: It is not a bug but a legitimate trigger.
2= Potion Chests throughout the game= Conclusion: This does not impact the game in any negative way, because the chest I changed is "empty" and thus only exists normally to add clutter to a room. By making several chests through the game "Potion Chests" nothing bad comes of it.
3= Thieve's Guild quest broken in Ald'ruhn= Conclusion: An actual bug that I have fixed, it was accidentally created during the early stages of the mod.

***********************

Changes made:
1) The Potion Chests throughout the game now have Standard, not bargain potions in them, purely because bargain potions are almost useless, even to a low level character.
2) The Problem in the office where there is some gold on the table that can be taken twice has been fixed.
3) The Detect -thing- potion icons have been changed.
4) Sellus Gravius has a tiny dialogue change to indicate his potion chest.
5) Thieve's Guild quest mentioned above fixed.

***********************

Installation:

1) Extract the "Potions" .esp plug-in file to your Data Files folder just like every other Morrowind mod.

2) Extract the "Custompotions2" folder into the "Icons" folder which is within Data Files.

The reason the zip is so big is because this mod is based entirely on these icon graphics!

I had wanted to take all the potions from the Baldur's Gate games and put them in Morrowind, but after a couple of days trying to get that to work, I realised it was inefficent and impractical. So I rendered my own potions in 3dstudioMAX and then used Paint Shop Pro to make them into decent icons. It took me a while and a LOT of patience, but I got it all sorted out! I hope it makes your Morrowind experience more enjoyable!

Function:
-To give a brand new and unique inventory icon to each and every potion in Morrowind.
-To get rid of the annoyance in Morrowind which is trawling through your inventory, looking for a potion you need more often than any other, like a Health or Magicka potion and having to look at EVERY SINGLE ICON in order to find it.

Features:
-Every single potion in the game has it's own inventory graphic.
-Alcohol is instantly recognisable as each kind/brand has it's own rendered potion icon.
-The icons are pretty (Or garish, depending on your opinion :-P ). I rendered them all in 3dstudioMAX2.5 and shrunk them and edited them in Paint Shop Pro 7 to make them aesthetically pleasing.
-There are 259 new icon graphics altogether (Approx)

Game World Changes:
-One tiny one; in the Census and Excise Offices when you hand over your papers and get your mission, as well as there being misc stuff on the table next to Sellus Gravius, there is a potion chest containing standard restore health, fatigue and magicka potions. However, this seems to have changed some other small chests in the game.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION

-In order for the user (ie, you) to get to grips with the radically altered potion icons, I thought it best to explain what I'd done with trying to bring order to the vast wealth of icons.

POTION QUALITY: All potions of a certain quality use the same potion shape.
-Bargain= Shamrock shape
-Cheap= Oval shape
-Standard= Flask shape
-Quality= Square shape
-Exclusive= Tall, vertical rectangle shape
You might think this a cop out, but I realised it would be impractical to use any more different potion bottle styles than I did, because it would have become confusing.

IN FACT...: I reused the Cheap and Exclusive styles to create strange potions like the Potion of Heroism. I did this because the other potions I rendered didn't have enough space on them to create a recognisable symbol.

THE DETECT -THING- POTIONS: I apologise profusely, as in the original release the three detect potions had icons on them I had made to make them more recognisable, without realising there were special symbols for them already in the game. So I have decided it would be best to recreate the potion icons for them. They are now pink and have the offical icons on them and are just as easy to spot in your inventory!

UNIQUE POTIONS: Quest item potions I all gave a graphic which looks like a coloured, bumpy test tube, so you can recognise it easily from the others in your inventory.

HEALTH, MAGICKA AND FATIGUE: All restore health, magicka, and fatigue potions are instantly recognisable for having red, blue and green crosses on white potion bottles.
-Red cross= Restores (Heals) Health
-Blue cross= Restores Magicka
-Green cross= Restores Fatigue
The ones with bottles that aren't white, but coloured the same as their respective cross are FORTIFY potions, not RESTORE ones. I thought it necessary to make this distinction.
They look obvious and unrealistic for a purpose, that being that these are the potions you need most of all during the game.

THE SYMBOLS ON THE BOTTLES: Are in fact the actual ones from the game that appear in the bottom right hand of the corner when they are in effect (ie. little red angry ones when you have a disease). I used them because it would have been silly to make up ones of my own. The colour of the bottle matches the symbol, so if you're looking for a Feather potion, the feather symbol is purple, so look through for purple bottles.
-When it comes down to the Restore or Fortify Attributes potions, think about the symbol for the Attribute you want. (ie, Endurance is a head with wavy lines surrounding it) White ones are restore, purple ones are fortify, because purple is the colour of the attributes. Though in hindsight I should have made them blue, because blue is the colour of Restore and fortify. But if I had made both Restore and Fortify blue, it would have gotten confusing!

WELL: You'll learn quickly enough what's what, after all, it's a definite improvement I think over what the icons used to be.
